Client pricing FAQ

Yes — you can browse providers, post jobs, and make bookings at no charge on the Free tier. The subscription plans only expand how many job posts you can make each month (Free: 3, Standard: 9, Pro: unlimited). There is no booking fee charged to clients.
A job post is when you describe a piece of work (e.g. "I need my kitchen repainted") and let providers send you quotes. It is different from directly booking a listed service — direct bookings do not count against your monthly post quota.
Client subscriptions are a one-time 30-day purchase, not a recurring charge. When your 30 days are up, the account reverts to the Free tier automatically. There is no subscription to cancel.
You can still book providers directly from their catalogue. You just cannot post new open jobs until your quota resets on the 1st of the next month, or until you upgrade your plan.
The platform commission is set by the provider's plan (not yours) and is added to the provider's quoted price at checkout. You will always see the total amount — including any applicable commission — before you confirm payment.
When you pay for a booking, your money is held by Near-U in escrow. It is only released to the provider once both parties confirm the job is done. If there is a dispute, our team mediates and can issue a full or partial refund.
