- Clients pay through Paystack at booking. The money is held by Near-U in escrow. Once the job is confirmed complete by both parties, the provider receives the full agreed amount — Near-U earns a commission on top, charged to the client, based on the provider's plan (Basic: 3%, Pro: 5%, Free tier: 0%).
- Open a dispute within the window for your provider's plan (48 hours for Basic, 7 days for Pro). Near-U mediates between you and the provider. Outcomes: full refund, partial refund, or release — based on the evidence each party provides.
- Phone OTP, selfie, and a government ID (NIN slip, Voter's Card, or Driver's License). Submitted documents are reviewed manually by our team within 24 hours.
- Providers list fixed-price services so clients know exactly what they're paying upfront. Any materials or add-ons outside the listed service should be agreed with the provider before work begins.
