Delete your Near-U account
You can delete your account and its data at any time. Deletion removes your profile, sign-in access, and personal details from active use. Records we're required to keep (completed payment and dispute records) are retained only as long as the law requires — see our Privacy Policy.
1. In the Near-U app
Open the app → tap your profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate once confirmed.
2. On the web
Sign in to your account, open Profile, and use Delete account at the bottom of the page.

Enter the email address registered to your Near-U account. To protect your account, we'll confirm the request with you at that address before deleting — typically within 3 business days.
What deletion means
- Your profile, services, and sign-in access are removed immediately.
- Your email and phone number are freed up if you ever want to register again.
- Active bookings must be completed or cancelled first, so no money is left hanging in escrow.
- Providers: withdraw your wallet balance before deleting.
- Payment and dispute records are kept only as long as financial regulations require, then removed.
